Gold Crown Christening

Probably the rainiest windiest day of the year for Kingston's Christening on Sunday! See invites here. We made the most of it with yummy hot coffee, salads, smashed avo sambos and lots of yummy brunch stuff at The Grounds Alexandria.
As you can see the theme was based around Crowns in gold, black, white and a touch of silver... a little play on his name Kingston.  We made little party hats out of toilet paper rolls and washi tape for the kids, The table was scattered with little gold spray painted animals, gold and silver Mason Jars for our floral mixes and little tin buckets for kids lollies.  Yummy gold leaf foil crown cookies, cake pops and macarons for treats + a centrepiece Vanilla frosted cake topped with a Crown made by sis.... A mix of Castle favours from Have you met Miss Jones as a little momento of the day.  Well, you can't pick the weather for events and this seemed very apparent yesterday, but hey! spending the day with the family and good food is always cause for celebration!
Thanks to Briar for some of her pics and you can read more on her blog.
